Models flipping out when I load an animation

While it was working fine yesterday, I ran into a problem today where I would load an animation and the models would start stretching and contorting.

Someone else had a similar issue. I'm not entirely sure what's causing it, but there are definitely errors in the log that shouldn't be there. We will continue to investigate.

Thanks for sharing this. Let us know if you run into this again.
  • So I deleted the Archive and Installer and re-downloaded just the Archive and the same thing happened. Not sure if this info helps but I thought I'd let you know.

After looking through the other threads on here, I'm still unsure if I need the Installer and Archive or just one or the other.

Are you using 64 or 32 bit?

    64 bit

    I'm running a 64 bit operating system with a 64 bit processor.

I did find something strange. Can you try replacing the files Assembly-CSharp.dll and Assembly-CSharp-firstpass.dll inside yiffalicious_Data\Managed with the files contained in this zip?

    http://download.yiffalicious.com/Managed.zip
  • That seems to have worked, thank you!
  • I'm suffering the same problem. I've downloaded and extracted the files but I don't know where or how to put these things. I admit I'm not good with computers and need instructions on how to install the files.

    @SteelCrow13
Start the app. Then, press Ctrl + Shift + ESC to open the Task Manager. In the task manager, right click the Yiffalicious process and choose "Open file location":

In the window that pops up, navigate to yiffalicious_Data\Managed\.

    Exit Yiffalicious (close the app).

Replace the files Assembly-CSharp.dll and Assembly-CSharp-firstpass.dll by dragging the files from the zip to this folder.
  • I did exactly like the instructions said but I'm still getting the same problem. Most of the character models are stretching out in insane ways and even their skin/colors/textures are messed up.

Can you show screenshots and share your output_log.txt?

  • Huh, restarted the app again and now it's working fine. Thanks for the help! :)
