Way to edit wings?

I'm trying to make a bird character, and I'm fine just editing the body to make the mouth the beak (in yellow), and the skin like the green feathers of the birdy. The only thing is how to make the dragon wings look like normal wings. Any ideas? :D

    You can try to fold the internal wing "fingers" towards one of the extremities + a feathered texture. 
    I'm away from my PC at the moment, so I can't say if it will work or not
