Trying to make some custom skins for friends of mine

I have four characters who have various degrees of editing necessary to make it look good, and I've poured over videos explaining how to edit skins and I'm so freakin' dumb I can't figure it out! Maybe today I'll get somewhere with it, but here's how I plan to map it out:

https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28688652/ - A little bit of fur brightening, and some hair adjustment, then other than that just make the model a girl (I can edit on her butt symbol in post).

https://www.furaffinity.net/view/28865862/ - And I can imagine editing a dragon so he's green, with a yellow beak, then make the wings look a bit more feathery with something XD

since characters in YL1 are exclusive to one gender (not including the futa/herm options), the two refs in the middle won't be possible to make with their respective species. however elaine and khana (the deer and antelope, respectively) do have somewhat similar facial shapes to them, if you wanted to try to skin those either of those two to look like the refs. looking forward to your work, if you continue!
