When applying masks to fluff, the first, bottom segment of fluff only has a stretched bottom line of the masks applied to it. It becomes more visisble as the resolution of fluff (no. of segments) gets lower:

The character is just the fresh bunny template, and the mask is odd, because I made it for troubleshooting. This issue seems to persist no matter what imported texture as mask you use. Both alpha and color masks have the same issue.
