Need help with downloads

So...Maybe I'm just not as smart as I thought... Every time I download any custom content for YL2, the file wont show up when I try to import it. The files I download are showing up as .yl2c files when I use file explorer, so obviously I'm missing something. Help an panther out?

    .yl2c is a character file, isn't it? You can just load it like any of the characters you've made.
