Problems on new version (0.5.2 (2016-04-13))

edited 3:16PM in Issues
Bringin in the bad news!

-NO SOUND. As in there is absolutely no sex noises. This is my biggest gripe.
-Things changed colour, the bar imo looks nicer but would be nice to be told of these changes such as the blue couch is now tan.

Anyone else find anything? Il update more things i find.

    1. Replace yiffalicious_Data/Managed/Assembly-CSharp.dll with this one:

    http://download.yiffalicious.com/Assembly-CSharp.dll

    2. It was never supposed to be blue! That was a lighting issue due to a bug in Unity, which they since have fixed. So now it looks correctly.

oh wow thanks! and it works!

Was gonna post a new issue
-Hands joint to anything spring a little. I cant remember this being in the previous build as i am now annoyed to how the hands dont touch the desired area as it lags behind whatever it is moving ( as in it springs)

Hands have always lagged behind by 1 frame (trading accuracy for framerate) and it shouldn't have gotten worse.

It might be worse if your framerate is lower, for example if you're running on a different, less capable device or if you're running VR (which takes more performance).

Out of curiosity, what version are you using? 64 or 32 bit? Was this present before you replaced the file or only after?

There's an issue with the hot fix when the fox humps another character. Basically it will cause an error and everything will become unresponsive. The fox being humped works however.

This will of course be fixed in the upcoming patch release. Until then you either have to choose between.

    1. Having no sound
    2. Having sound, but being unable to have the fox hump another character

64 bit, and before the replaced file, still remained after. If it is framerate issue, Maybe? I dont have much framerate drops and im running on alright settings.

I noticed cat ears and horse hair behave like they should in this build, does that have anything to do with hands lagging behind? Just speculation.

I can't notice any difference when comparing with previous build.

Are you able to record a video and show the hands lagging? And another recording for previous build that supposedly doesn't have this issue for the same situation/interaction?

I cant exactly record (But il try to figure something out), and I dont know where i can get previous builds as I was looking for it before i went to bed.

    Sorry, learning to be helpful

How does it compare to the public build?
  • edited 3:16PM
    Public build:

It sticks on the desired areas precisely. Even on high intense movement.
However!!! Public build does not have some of the graphical settings as the patreon build, namely furshader.

So i couldnt make it heavy and test if the delay in framerate was punching the physics of hands.

Build 0.5.2b: No delay on hands now even with maximum settings.

Sorry for the concern but it seems fixed now.

    hah ok

I haven't done anything in regards to this, so I think it may just have been a framerate issue. I don't know about you but sometimes at least my computer can be a bit inconsistent with framerates depending on how long it has been running.

After the patch, the fox's orifice is still clipping quite badly with the push/pull feature:

e.g. Horse with 'pull out' switched off and 'push/pull inf.' maxed:

Same but with 'pull out' maxed:

    Rhino:

With the horse you can sort of play around with the sliders until things don't look too bad, but with the rhino, it seems to be impossible to avoid- there's always clipping somewhere.

Right, fur shader doesn't have a clipping preventing tech implemented in it yet, like the other shaders we're using. Totally forgot about that.

Have you tried turning fur shading off and see if it helps?

I will of course add this tech to fur shading as well, but just curious if it helps at all (turning them off).

  • edited 3:16PM
Yes- didn't help. I also tried setting all graphics (except multithreading) to lowest settings and the problem persisted.

No matter how hard I try, I cannot get it anywhere near as bad as your screenshots show. Can you share these interactions with me?

I'm wondering if this is at least partly another framerate issue- I seem to remember having similar problems when the orifice dynamics were last changed months ago.

    Wow, yes, serious issues here.

Actually, there's something really strange going on. The orifice push/pull is inverted. It looks like the orifice is being pulled when the other character is pushing, and when other character is pulling the orifice is being pushed. I tried adding another fox next to him in the exact same setup, and that one does not have this issue. So I thought it might be a saving / loading issue, but even after saving and loading, only your pose behaves this way.

I will need to investigate more.

Aha, I found it. You are using anus pull out in expressions, both driver and blend shape. These blend shapes shouldn't even be there. Set them both to zero and it will work as intended.
  • edited 3:16PM
OK that does make it better. However, the rhino clipping in the this screenshot is still there, even if push/pull is turned off completely:

    https://i.gyazo.com/c0e8116eb63b629c08da8ad1df64382b.jpg

It seems to happen when the rhino is pulling out at low speeds, otherwise it seems okay.

Yeah seems like I'll have to tweak this a little bit more.
