To help out the developers, it is very useful for them to know the exact specs of your system. For some, this is hard to find, so here is a link for an awesome tool that I always use:
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.htmlWith this, you can get information about your motherboard, graphic card, RAM and CPU, down to very specific details.
Sometimes, they also need a bit of information about your Direct X setup. To find this go to Start and type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks). This will give you all the specs of what version of Direct X you have.
