Did you guys improve the quality of the tessellation? Because I noticed that when I set it to extreme, it killed the performance on my Radeon 280X when it used to have no significant effect on performance. I actually upgraded to a 390X this week partly because of this.

    Nothing has been changed in regards to tessellation.

    The thing that's probably killing your performance is the real-time reflective surfaces.

    I always keep the refective surfaces off, but the tess suddenly started killing my performance after one of the recent updates.

    May have found the cause. An option in the graphics driver menu had "Power Efficiency" enabled by default, and would downclock the graphics card during high GPU loads, so that may have been why my performance tanked.
