Creation Tutorial Video?

I'm interested in making my own skins but... I'm not sure what the process is. Can I do it in a program such as GIMP? It would really help to have a video available to help :)

    I kinda need a video too. I've been using the links they've given for the past 2 hours and still haven't gotten anywhere.

    This isn't really a creation tutorial video but you can use these videos and apply them to the character skin authoring. Also blender is used for these tutorials it is free.hopefully i dont get banned for posting these links, rip, well here ya go......
