I was noticing this as well. If I recall it was also only happening when using PoV and the other character is changing the point they are looking at. I'll try to get some shorts of it if I can.
It's my understanding that human characters are a likely addition in the future. No idea on the timeline for it however.
In my personal opinion, absolutely; I'd definitely welcome this.
