Unstacking: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4VsOU0iyjU
You'll need blender as an intermediary tool.
I don't seem to have a video clip for merging vertices, I'll record my preparation process on older YL2 FurryVNE version I have later today.
For most programs, you have to at least unstack UVs. Merging duplicate vertices might also help prevent some issues. I'll link the unstack tutorial soon, I'll have to look for the merging clip.

What kind of folders wouldn't it have access to?Happens quite often if you put the game directly in C:\. Personally I have no issue running it from downloads/desktop.
Have you checked the Event viewer? Might be a clue in the Application or System lo…
Alright, let's go from the top:
Do you have a particularily potato PC? Do other 3d games run fine? What's your OS, CPU, GPU and RAM?Is there an output_log.txt in the game/yiffalicious_Data folder? Can you throw it on pastebin.com?Did you try temporar…
Would it be possible to nullify, or at least reduce, the impact the spine has on inflated belly? I mostly mean how the belly shrinks when character is hunching over.
A whole lot of Shader unsupported messages. Do you have (newest) video drivers installed? Any other games, especially in unity, work fine? Did you tweak something in Windows Registry?
It does offset the part in Y-axis, but that's not that much of a problem in the end.
I'm not forcing myself, I'm just utilising the power of self-loathing.
BTW, I can make some more characters skins. Any requests?
Main reason why I'm holding back on making hair and tails is waiting for an implementation of animated/physics-enabled parts. The other reason is because I suck at modeling lol.
I'm curious what method you'll come up with, @odes
@Craket Making hair is rather problematic. I model it directly on an export of a character, in 1:1 scale. Cool thing about it is that when I import the result in YL2, it's exactly where it should be. But only for that particular character. Just like…
@odes No no no, it's Mari that's faulty, YL2 works perfectly fine.
In the meantime I found out that the crashes are caused by exporting an unflattened mask stack. Mixing modes was a completely separate issue it seems.
It's so weird seeing how many …
I've cleaned up the back stripes, and Mari decided to shit the bed, corrupting the project. Now one of the masks is exporting with wrong alpha, and application crashes, when I try to select anything after export. All that because I've modified layer…
@hellcat I can't decide on a design for them. There aren't many pictures with a clear shot of the back, and each one is vastly different
Which one do you like better?
@Brownmane do you mean it as a mane - hair growing along the neck and back, or as just flowing long hair?
It probably wouldn't be hard to create a mane. I'd just make a single clump of hair, and place them on the skin with appendage group, but that …
@Craket, @Brownmane, when you mentioned modular hair, what shapes did you have in mind? Could you provide me with an example?
I can't work without reference. If my creativity was a number, it would be in the negatives
Here's the tutorial I'm using…
@Brownmane, you can create cleaner UVs by splitting up the mesh with UV seams. In blender, select the outermost loop with alt + left click, and from the top menu, select Edge -> Mark seam. Repeat for the second lens as well. Then, select all with…
@Brownmane the bunny hair isn't an integrated part of YL2, it's just bundled with bunny template the same way you'd import local assets into your character:
There isn't much to make a guide about, but I'll try to explain the process from end-user'…
Well, I'm a dumbass. I did not realise I can adjust the curve resolution prior to converting to mesh, for both strand shape and length.
That makes the hair way easier to manage, results are cleaner, and I can stuff much more in there right now.
Th…
@Craket the hair is added as a part, and I can freely adjust its smoothness through the default fill layer that's added along with it. At full opacity, the default and underlying smoothness is being overwritten with the set value:

@hellcat please keep in mind that breasts will sag in pose mode and during interactions, which makes them appear more voluminous. And anyway, at this point it's just adjusting breast and areola sliders.
Made Azurebolt in the meantime. Body markings …
@hellcat needs fluffier hair
I can't get my head to work with YL2 fluff, so I'm searching for alternatives.
At least I've got the skin making figured out, so I'm willing to take on some requests.
