Humans in FurryVNE (YL2) is not planned atm and is unlikely to ever be implemented.
I don't know of any app/game like Yiffalicious, but then again I don't know of that many ero games either, so ...
It's only natural that newly made characters have the benefit of being planned from scratch in regards to fur and fluff placement. TBH, I'm amazed you managed to make that transition so well for your previous characters.
Oh, is the 51 vs 50 characte…
Fluff it. I implemented an obscurance filter.
Here you can see only the non obscured vertices facing the camera are being marked with red.
All I need to do is integrate it into the authoring tools. But I gtg now.
Levels layer -
Thanks for discovering this and bringing it up. This issue has now been fixed.
It's tied to the mask usage. After load, the mask wasn't properly loaded and thus would return a black texture.
Sculpt culling -
This is indeed the way i…
The system will most definitely undergo changes, as changes are happening continuously. However, characters created now will still be possible to animate. Despite changes happening all the time, characters from the first release are still possible t…
Thanks for sharing that!
However, there seems to be nothing in the logs to help!
Can you record the whole procedure to cause this bug?
I'm sorry for being a pain, but I just can't seem to cause it!
Thanks again for the praise of the fur authoring tool!
Ah, the AO high-rez bug is unfortunate. It's essentially a consequence of this (default behavior in Unity, crazily enough). Perhaps we'll do what you suggest - simply remove super resolution f…
Have you had any luck in reproducing that "Delete" bug?
I'm in the process of making a patch, and it would be great to have that bug solved, but I need an output_log or steps to reproduce ...
Ah, I think I understand what you mean. It's like when you long for something, and then you finally get/experience it, and it just feels weird that this moment finally came to pass. Even better if it lived up to or surpassed your expectations.
Anywa…
Hah, the drawback of being so productive - so many characters to update! (If updating is what you really want. You could just abandon some and focus on new ones as well.)
I will repeat what im about to say now. This new Fur authoring tech is so much…
The texture issue should be fixed, as stated in your other thread.
No, the number of triangles is not due to fur authoring. It has to do with a previous bug that calculated the number of draw calls and triangles incorrectly (too few).
The UI bug with the lines reminds me of another bug that essentially produced the same artifacts (although in a different context). For whatever reason, drawing lines using GL after everything has been rendered seems to be a no-no. I'm not sure if I…
I'm writing from my phone so sorry for being brief.
The thing is though, we don't have any blue buttons AFAIK? They're all either pink/purple or gray/black. So everything about that is just super odd!
OK, let me know if it happens again!
Nipple issue:
Ah, this is tricky. The nipple is rendered with separate mesh and with tessellation. What you're seeing is the tessellated mesh rendering over the other one. Tessellation is required to show the nipple, but it will interfere with fur.…
Great initiative, @Craket!
Looking forward to seeing what your experience will be with the fur authoring tools as well as what you'll manage to create with it.
I may have misunderstood your question, but you cannot affect a part of an instance, only what instances to affect. Each instance within the radius of the brush is affected.
Ah I see what you mean.
There is a special concept called "detail textures". A detail texture is a repeating texture on the body that works well for giving the surface its character. It's useful for things like scales.
You can find detail texturin…
That sounds strange. From your description alone, it doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps if you show a video I could explain what's going on. It might also be a bug.
