About hand distortion - chest scale is the culprit. If you restore it, or use uniform scaling for it, it will work as expected.
Chest is the only bone that doesn't use undistortion tech, because that tech caused problems with tits. I thought I coul…
1. The code was intentionally made so that the camera matches the characters angle. I should probably make that an option. (VR for Yiffalicious was made for sitting, not standing.)
2. Press left and right mouse button while looking at a character, a…
1) Screenshots and character files always help. I tried to reproduce the error you're describing on bunny, but I wasn't successful.
2) That's true - there's currently no way to flip a part. Adding to todo.
3) Alpha mask bug is fixed.
If you can shar…
If it happens again, please grab the output_log.txt and send it to me.
Loading will not restore undo history. (This is standard behavior for any application.)
But, does anyone know that, if you download a character, do you also need the alphas as well? Or does it come with the character?
All local assets are stored inside the yl2c file. You don't need to include any external files.
There is however a bug…
I just realized this was posted in the Yiffalicious forum. Sorry, I thought we were talking about YL2.
There's no public release date for YL2 atm. We want to have both the character editor and the interaction systems in a good state before that hap…
Thanks @Diasher!
Right now we're focusing on fixing bugs that people have been reporting in the current build. It's hard to tell how long these bugs will be to fix. Some are quite tricky. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long. We prefer being able t…
1. You need to create your own custom mask texture in an external application and then bring it into the app. Unfortunately, there's no tutorial atm of how to do this, but there will be at some point.
2. At the very least, it is very likely that we…
The texture builder bug has been fixed.
I can't seem to find any issues with tongues though. The tongues follow head just fine for me for canine, feline and scalie.
@TauTeFox
Can you share an image or file?
@Brownmane
Thank you!
About your problems:
Feet going through the ground when scaled
We're aware of this problem, and it's quite tricky to solve. During the entire development process, we've been using just a blank skybox when testing the …
Nice find. I can confirm the pelvis is not properly aligned axis wise. It's fine in the source content, so it has to be somewhere in the code where the pelvis gets distorted. Adding to todo list.
@kroch
That's an interesting idea with rewards for contribution. Naturally, karma for uploading characters and such is something we're already intending to do, but we hadn't thought of something like that for tutorials. Maybe something like steam g…
I just noticed the balls/sheath don't blend as expected. I'm pretty sure it has to do with last minute changes to the mesh that removed some of our previous authoring. That will be fixed for next release.
1) Sure. You can do that in external applications, such as blender. You need to separate the mesh by material though - otherwise all the UVs are just on top of eachother.
4) Ah, I think you're thinking about the mesh blending tech. Currently, that …
@kroch
1) The idea is indeed to offer such pre-made masks to make authoring easier. We just haven't had the time. But more will definitely arrive. And, as you pointed out, you could always extract textures from other characters as well once we get…
The mirroring works relative to the pelvis. So if the pelvis is slightly rotated, so will the limbs be when mirrored.
If you reset the pelvis rotation by selecting the node and pressing R and then re-mirror the limb, does it work as expected?
